Bridging advanced materials research, generative design, and high-volume manufacturing, the Phi-Lab enables the creation of lighter, stronger, and more sustainable components for space-bound and terrestrial applications. By combining cutting-edge simulation, additive manufacturing, smart materials, and real-world testbed validation, ESA Phi-Lab Ireland accelerates the transition from breakthrough research to market-ready solutions. Based in Mullingar, the Phi-Lab offers industry a unique platform to co-develop, test, and scale disruptive innovations that reduce emissions, boost performance, and increase competitiveness - on Earth and beyond.
