ESACT was founded in 1976 to create a forum for the exchange of ideas on biology, biotechnology and engineering. With the purpose of gathering knowledge on the use of human and animal cells for manufacturing of biopharmaceuticals, vaccines and advanced therapies, ESACT also promotes training and education in these fields. Our members are scientists and engineers in working in R&D in Biotec and Pharma industry, at applied science institutions and universities, in health and medical services, regulatory bodies and equipment/tools providers.
