The Escom Group was founded in 1993 by the Espírito Santo Group and Hélder Bataglia, and began its activity connected to trading, later focusing on the diversification of investments that underlie some of the most important business segments, a clear demonstration of its commitment and confidence in Africa.
The Escom Group is currently one of the largest private investors in Angola. It is also involved in construction, public works and infrastructure in the Republic of Congo, where it is has been operating since 1999. Also present in the Republic of South Africa, it participates since 2010 in various renewable energy projects.
