ACHIEVING FLUENCY in English as a foreign language (EFL) is the main objective of any language school. This is not easy by using conventional methods, due to two reasons: 1. Instead of an “Active Learning of English Skills," language schools teach these as information to be memorized. 2. Instead of modern Active Learning, language schools use unproductive Passive Learning. ACTIVE LEARNING OF ENGLISH SKILLS is in sharp contrast to the Passive Learning English style where information is to be remembered. Active learning is protected by three patents: one issued and two pending – in the USA and in China. In Active Learning, the learner trains all English skills simultaneously: reading, speaking, writing, grammar, and pronunciation while re-experiencing familiar situations in English. All these situations are familiar to Chinese speakers since support in Mandarin is a part of the mobile application. EACH LEARNER speaks 80% of the time when using mobile devices with an earphone and a microphone -- irrespective of the number of students in the class. During training, the learner’s brain absorbs patterns based on intuitive grammar and develops a good ability to think in English. Active Learning eliminates cross-translation, by showing contextual translation for ten seconds at a time, which is the main barrier to clear thinking in English. LANGUAGE BRIDGE TECHNOLOGY (LBT) ANDROID APPLICATION provides support in Mandarin when the learner needs it, but the main experience is in English. If you have a different native language, I recommend using an online translation service to grasp the text better. You need to pronounce English text aloud many times concurrently with the recording. The application lets learners share recorded sessions with friends or with a teacher. Content can be customized by the learner or the teacher. The LBT application can be used for self-teaching as well as classroom instruction or guided online coaching.
