East Side Learning Center

East Side Learning Center offers free one-on-one, relationship-based literacy tutoring for K - 3rd grade students. Our Mission: Unlocking each child's potential through the foundation of reading. Our goals: To help children read with joy and pride at grade level by 3rd grade. To empower children to be successful in school and society. To provide opportunities for parents to participate in the reading progress of their children at home. Our Vision: To be a major force in ensuring that all children have the opportunity to read at grade level by 3rd grade. East Side Learning Center (ESLC) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit was founded in 2001, an educational partnership with the School Sisters of Notre Dame. ESLC is a proud program partner of AARP Foundation Experience Corps.
