At Esme, we are committed to making highly innovative beauty and personal care products accessible and affordable to masses. Our journey began in 2019 when SAMARA CAPITAL (a PE fund with a portfolio of 20+ companies) acquired two small Delhi based FMCG companies - Blue Heaven Cosmetics Pvt Ltd and Nature’s Essence Pvt Ltd with the objective of building a large scale personal care platform serving mass India (Bharat). Blue Heaven is one of the most loved Indian cosmetic brands with a rich legacy of close to 50 years. The brand is known for crafting superior quality, innovative colour cosmetic products and selling those at affordable prices. This has been made possible by keeping all manufacturing and product development in-house. Nature’s Essence started its journey more than 20 years back by educating small to mid-size salons about beauty treatments and manufacturing affordable personal care products for those treatments. Nature’s Essence is currently amongst the top brands in the Facial Kit and Bleach segments. The equity built in salons has enabled the company to expand to retail categories like Face wash, Scrubs, Masks, Gels and Lotions.
