Chalmers International Reception Committee

Chalmers International Reception Committee (CIRC) organizes the reception for all incoming international students at Chalmers University of Technology. We arrange various social activities and events during the first few weeks after the students arrival. In addition, CIRC strives to keep in touch with the students during the year following their arrival in order to help them and to provide them with a link to Chalmers, to the Student Union as well as a link between each other. CIRC members work on a voluntary basis, solely on their firm belief that they will help give the students memorable years at Chalmers, and at the same time have a fun time themselves. This committee is elected for one year from January to December. CIRC cooperates with the University, the Student Union, ESN and many more partners. Our goal! CIRC’s mission is to make exchange and master students’ arrival in Sweden, Göteborg and Chalmers as easy and pleasant as possible. We will show them (from student to student) where they will be living and try to help them in every way possible to make them feel comfortable in the new surroundings. Hopefully we will also succeed in introducing them to the lifestyle of the Swedish people, particularly of Swedish students.
