About ESN Athens AUEB,
The Erasmus Student Network (ESN) is a non-political, non-profit student organization of the Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB).
Founded in February 1992 by students of the AUEB who had participated in the Erasmus program. Our section is driven by students who have experienced the Erasmus journey and are passionate about fostering a vibrant and welcoming international community!
Our Mission
We are dedicated to promoting student mobility in Higher Education under the principle of "Students Helping Students". Our primary goal is to support the integration of Erasmus students into the local community while encouraging AUEB students to embrace the opportunities offered by European Union mobility programs.
What We Do
For Incoming Erasmus Students:
- Pre-Arrival Support & Welcome : We assist with your transition to Athens before you even arrive. Receive essential information to navigate your new environment.
- Introduction Week: Join us for a week of activities to help you settle in and make friends.
- Daily Support: We're here to help with any day-to-day challenges.
- Cultural & Social Activities: Enjoy events, trips, and sports that create lasting memories.
For AUEB Students Interested in Erasmus Mobility:
- Info Sessions: Learn all about studying abroad in our department meetings.
- University Selection: Get guidance on choosing the best host university for your goals.
- Practical Advice: Receive tips for a smooth transition to your host university.
