Esperanza is the first-of-its-kind plastic waste management company in India which offers reliable closed loop solutions for the sustainable recycling of plastic waste. Founded in 2018, Esperanza is working towards drawing attention to the hazards of using single-use plastics by providing recycling solutions that upcycle plastic.
The name Esperanza derives from the Spanish language word which means “Hope” and defines our vision to contribute towards a more sustainable ecosystem and responsible supply chain for recycled materials. We follow a cyclic approach whereby we mechanically recycle the plastic waste into usable solutions. Our 5-step process is based on what we call PLASCHEMY – the process of converting plastic waste into new material which is safe to use and is already being utilized by industries for the manufacture of products that range from everyday essentials as furniture to high end automotive parts.
At Esperanza, it is our endeavour to continuously innovate and adopt new technologies to reduce, reuse, and recycle plastic waste while also fostering a culture of conscious recycling of plastic for the benefit of the people and the planet. We process plastic waste into recycled plastic granules and also offer consultancy and technical advisory for Extended Producer Responsibility to large conglomerates and SMEs.
