Founded in 2017, Digital Lode Immersive media created the original stealth-action IP “Espire” and has shipped Espire games to all major VR platforms.
The company has employed some of the most talented and creative XR mavericks in this burgeoning industry and our passion for immersive media has opened the door to many exciting R&D collaborations with major XR platforms like Meta.
Our first release, Espire 1: VR Operative, was the 1st game to sim-ship on every major VR platform. It was a Quest Top seller in 2020 and introduced our “Control Theater” Comfort feature - which mitigates VR sickness while retaining full freedom of movement in the VR world.
The Sequel, Espire 2, was the 2023 AGDA award winner for “Excellence in VR” and features Co-op multiplayer and AI Voice commands - use your voice to interrogate enemy soldiers.
Our most recent release, Espire: MR Missions, is the world’s first Stealth action Mixed Reality game based inside your house. It launched with Quest 3 in October 2023.
Lode is currently shifting focus beyond XR while growing out a publishing arm. Our next title, releasing in 2026, is developed in-house and will target traditional console platforms as well as VR.
