Espoirs Laval

Founded in 1968, Espoirs Laval is recognized as one of Canada's leading road and track cycling clubs. From discovery to high-level sport, the organization is a benchmark for cycling across the province, and has been active in the Laval region for over 50 years. Accredited by the Fédération québécoise des sports cyclistes (FQSC), the club brings together riders from all categories, from under-eight years old to masters. The club also has a paracycling section. Over the years, the club has racked up over 100 national titles, and has welcomed riders who have gone on to a career in the professional peloton. We place great importance on the development of young athletes, providing training by qualified coaches and supporting our elite athletes as never before. The club is a gateway to top-level sport for aspiring athletes. With a view to extending its reach and multiplying its impact on the community tenfold, a major transformation of the organization was initiated in 2020. Programs multiplied, enabling thousands of young people to enjoy a positive sporting experience via our activities. The Vélosco project, aimed at discovery and initiation to cycling sports, has grown exponentially in popularity. Including a day camp, a school program and an after-school program, Vélosco is a must in cycling education. Espoirs Laval is proud to contribute to making cycling sports accessible to as many people as possible, while adopting a participant-centred approach. We are convinced that anyone wishing to integrate cycling into their daily life will find a program to suit their objectives and reality.
