As part of the three year project (09/2023 - 08/2026), the Game Hub for SMEs in the Capital Region, a new type of game lab was created in Otaniemi, Espoo.
The goal of Espoo Game LAB is simple: equip participants with the essential skills to either land a job in the game industry or establish their game companies. The programme covers key areas like game design, programming, content production, game production and business know-how.
The Espoo Game LAB participants get to develop their games as well as themselves in a professional environment. The first Espoo Game LAB round began in March 2024.
