Essential Business in an English language multi-platform media project created to inform Portugal’s international business community and promote Portuguese business to an international audience. The print magazine is published monthly 10 times per year with combined bi-monthly editions for July/August and December/January. The magazine features interviews, market insights and in-depth features and coverage of Portugal’s international business scene. The website essentialbusiness.pt is a news portal in the English language, updated daily and providing information on the Portuguese business scene along with feature articles adapted from the content of Essential Business magazine. Complementing the website is an e-newsletter Issued daily on most working days throughout the year, offering readers a synopsis of happenings on the business scene with selected news briefs. Essential Business is part of The Open Media Group, Portugal’s leading publisher of foreign language magazines, newspapers and websites. Well know titles published by the company include the Essential group of bilingual (English / Portuguese) regional magazines covering the Algarve, Lisbon and Madeira as well as a Chinese / English edition in Macau (China) produced in cooperation with a local publisher.
