ESS For Nations

Emergency Support Services for Nation (ESS FN) is comprised of Nations within the 31 Mainland Coast Salish dedicated to enhancing the capacity of Indigenous communities in emergency response. We recognize the unique strengths and needs of Indigenous communities and work collaboratively to ensure culturally appropriate support during emergencies. Our mission is to foster collaboration, share best practices, and provide culturally sensitive emergency support services to Indigenous communities within the region. We are dedicated to fostering regional resource sharing, cooperation, and support, ensuring mutual aid and resilience in times of crisis. We prioritize training together so that our team is already equipped to support each other's communities.
