Essum AB är ett svenskt bioteknikföretag lokaliserad på Umestans Företagspark i björkarnas stad Umeå. Företaget utvecklar, tillverkar och marknadsför probiotika. Forskning och kliniska studier pågår inom övre luftvägsinfektioner där både kosttillskott och medicintekniska produkter kan bli aktuella inom några år.
