We provide specialist training, research and development opportunities for people who support autistic adults and adults with a learning disability with additional mental health needs. As a City & Guilds Assured centre our learning programmes are unique to the learning disability sector and are highly rated by employers. Widely acknowledged as one of the market leaders in training and research in mental health and intellectual disabilities, all our learning programmes are co- developed co-delivered with clinical subject matter experts and people with lived experience. We lead in the development of the Tier 2 content and materials for the Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training in partnership with the National Autistic Society. We are contracted by NHS England to deliver lead trainer training across the UK and and are one of only two organisations who are approved to deliver this training. We are based at the Maudsley Hospital in London within the Mental Health in Learning Disability Team and are an integral part of local services for people with intellectual disabilities provided by the Trust. We are also part of King's Health Partners.
