ESWECO

Egyptian Swedish Welding Electrodes Company (ESWECO) is the manufacturing arm of HEDO Group. It was established in 1982 as a joint-venture company with ESAB, Sweden (the major manufacturer of welding equipment and consumables worldwide). In 1988, ESWECO became a completely independent entity and privately owned company. Therefore, ESWECO acquired the manufacturing facility and inherited the R&D activities. By 2018, ESWECO production exceeds 60,000 tons of filler material covering a wide range of products such as Welding Electrodes, Welding Wires (MIG/MAG), Submerged Arc Welding Wires, TIG Rods and Welding Fluxes. ESWECO products are certified by international organizations includes LIoyds of Germany & England and the American Bureau of shipping. The Company holds ISO 9002 since 1996 and OHSAS 1800 since 2007.
