ETDA เป็นหน่วยงานภายใต้กระทรวงดิจิทัลเพื่อเศรษฐกิจและสังคม ซึ่งก่อตั้งขึ้นในปี 2554 ปัจจุบันได้ก้าวเข้าสู่ปีที่ 14 แล้ว โดย ETDA มีบทบาทส่งเสริมและสนับสนุนการทำธุรกรรมทางออนไลน์ของประเทศ โดยทำงานร่วมกับทั้งภาครัฐและภาคเอกชน รวมถึงเป็นหน่วยงานกำกับดูแลธุรกิจบริการเกี่ยวกับธุรกรรมฯ ที่สำคัญ (Regulator) ETDA มุ่งมั่นทำงานร่วมกับพาร์ทเนอร์ในรูปแบบ Co-creation เพื่อให้คนไทยสามารถทำธุรกรรมที่น่าเชื่อถือผ่านทางออนไลน์ได้อย่างมั่นใจ และมั่นคงปลอดภัย
ETDA is an agency under the Ministry of Digital Economy and Society, established in 2011, now entering its 14th year. ETDA plays a key role in promoting and supporting online transactions in Thailand by collaborating with both public and private sectors. It also serves as a regulator overseeing critical transaction-related service businesses. ETDA is dedicated to working with partners in a co-creation approach to ensure that Thai people can conduct reliable, secure, and safe online transactions with confidence.
