Eternyze was an innovative fintech company focusing on the transformative potential of Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) for digitizing/tokenizing assets. Eternyze was established in 2018. In 2020, it went live with its first product around industrial physical baked tokenization. In 2021, followed by investment asset-backed tokenization, Eternyze created its own settlement token and validation services. Eternyze developed a whole ecosystem around digitization, including banks, storage providers, insurance companies, transportation companies, metal providers, investment and industrial partners and market makers. Eternyze aimed to integrate supply chain management within the industry, treasury activities, and ESG factors into financial products. The objective was to establish a unified source of collateral that meets ESG guidelines. Eternyze aimed to redefine how various assets, including commodities, real estate, collectibles and luxury items, were managed and traded. The platform was set to serve as a single source of immutable, secure data, enhancing track and trace capabilities, transaction history, and ESG metrics. Collaborating with various sectors, Eternyze sought to advance Web3 technologies, fostering disintermediation and interoperability. These partnerships aimed to improve supply chain management, offer new business transaction methods and provide greater access to institutional storage, marketplace liquidity, and transparency, including ESG considerations. Eternyze revenues increased from 2020 to 2023 substantially. The highest Asset Under Custody was achieved in early 2022 with 150m CHF. Eternyze had key issuers and key clients of the biggest companies worldwide. In Q3 2023, Eternyze began winding down operations based on shareholder decision.
