ETHEREAL aims to develop personalised technology to empower autistic adolescents to take preventive action against mental health conditions.
ETHEREAL’s vision is to develop a system that will:
1) Empower autistic adolescents to manage their own mental health,
2) allow autistic adolescents to access social and clinical support services anytime anywhere,
3) enable clinicians to access the highest level of evidence on adolescent-centric interventions to holistically treat comorbid conditions that are commonly diagnosed in the autistic population, and
4) integrating all of the above in a single service delivery model to improve Quality of Life.
It consists of an AI-enabled Personal Digital Nurse (PDN) that will act as a bridge between the adolescent and their support services.
