ETIC (Entrepreneurial Training for Innovative Communities), founded in 1993, is one of Japan’s largest networks of social change leaders. On a mission to establish ecosystems where everyone can unleash their entrepreneurial potential, we help entrepreneurs and professionals grow through our renowned programs and peer-support communities. We are a certified non-profit organization based in Shibuya, Tokyo.

1. Nurture Young Founders
We help young founders in their teens and twenties grow by matching them with experienced mentors and peer support communities. Known as a pioneer in this field, ETIC has developed 1,915 entrepreneurs over the past 30 years.
2. Grow Impact Ventures and Nonprofits
Since 2000, we have discovered and nurtured leaders representing Japan in all areas of social issues. Recently, we have empowered the leadership capacity and networks of these growing organizations.
3. Boost Local Small Businesses
We build networks with 60+ enterprise support organizations and 100+ municipalities nationwide, supporting SMEs in disadvantaged areas. Our talent matching support helped them to recruit over 400 professionals in the past five years.
4. Accelerate Employee Engagement and Volunteering
The core of ETIC is collaborative partnerships with private enterprises. Our programs engage 400+ corporate leaders and professionals annually, utilizing their skills and experiences to support entrepreneurs.
