يمثل المركز العالمي لمكافحة التطرف(اعتدال) رغبة شعوب العالم في العيش في بيئات آمنة خالية من التطرف يعم فيها التسامح والسلام. يعمل المركز منذ تدشينه في مايو 2017 بحضور العديد من رؤساء دول العالم في العاصمة السعودية الرياض، على تعزيز ثقافة التعايش ورصد الفكر المتطرف، وتحليله، واستشرافه للتصدي له ومواجهته والوقاية منه. يضم المركز نخبة من الباحثين والمفكرين يمثلون دول العالم، ويقدم إنتاجه عبر أكثر من 15 لغة في مختلف المنصات الاجتماعية الرئيسية، مستخدماً في ذلك برمجيات قادرة على رصد وتصنيف وتحليل أي محتوى متطرف في غضون ٦ ثوان فقط من ظهوره على شبكة الإنترنت بمستوى غير مسبوق عالمياً من الدقة - يتعدى 80٪ - مما يتيح آفاقاً جديدة في مجال مكافحة الأنشطة المتطرفة. The Global Center for Combating Extremist Ideology (Etidal) represents the will of the peoples of the world to live in a safe environment that is free from extremism and full of tolerance and peace. Since its launch in May 2017 in the Saudi capital Riyadh with many heads of state from around the world in attendance, the Center has been working to promote a culture of coexistence, as well as monitoring, analyzing and predicting extremist ideology in order to confront and refute it. The Center has a distinguished team of multidisciplinary researchers representing various countries of the world. It showcases its products in more than 15 languages across various social media platforms, using software tools that are capable of monitoring, classifying and analyzing any extremist content within just 6 seconds of its online broadcast, and with more than 80% accuracy level, giving a whole new perspective and opening new frontiers in the fight against digital extremism.
