ETMU

The Society for the Study of Ethnic Relations and International Migration (ETMU) is a multidisciplinary scientific association established in 2003 to promote research in this field in Finland. Therefore, we welcome people seeking to deepen understanding of such themes as forced migration, multiculturalism, racism, nationalism, integration, minority rights, citizenship, and other related subjects. The key activities of the ETMU - annual #ETMUDAYS conference and members’ visits, publishing the Nordic Journal of Migration Research #NJMR and the blog #Liikkeessäylirajojen, granting the annual #ETMUAward - are aiming to promote ethical research to influence policy-making in matters related to migration, ethnicity, and integration.
