About EU CBRN CoE Project 87
EU CBRN CoE Project 87 – Preparedness and Response for Mass Gatherings and Other Health Threats in Central Asia (PRECA) – is a collaborative initiative aimed at strengthening public health and emergency response capabilities across Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Pakistan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan. Funded by the European Union, and implemented by the International Science and Technology Center (ISTC, the project brings together regional and international experts to enhance preparedness in key areas such as: 🔹 Chemical incident response and Poisons Information Centres 🔹 Food safety at mass gatherings 🔹 Drinking water security and emergency planning 🔹 Public health risk management and cross-border cooperation By fostering regional collaboration and knowledge exchange, Project 87 helps governments and health authorities build resilient public health systems, ensuring safer mass gatherings and improved emergency response mechanisms.
