The EU3DSIG (European 3D in Hospitals Special Interest Group) was founded in 2022 to promote excellence in healthcare outcomes, education, research, and technological innovation using 3D technologies by creating a European Community that fosters the sharing of knowledge and advances awareness.
Primary need and focus of the SIG are:
- Evidence collection to achieve reimbursement and compliance
- Creation of general quality guidelines compliant with the MDR
- Raise awareness and provide training and educational opportunities to service life cycle interests (suppliers, 3D personnel, surgeons, patients)
