EUROCONSTRUCT is one of the leading networks for construction market forcasting in Europe. TARGET The aim of EUROCONSTRUCT is to provide decision-makers in the construction sector and related markets with information, analyses and forecasts to enable business planning more effectively. EVENTS AND SERVICES Twice a year, EUROCONSTRUCT organises an international conference on short-term forecasts. These are presented by the EUROCONSTRUCT member institutes for the three main market segments: - housing, - non-residential buildings and - civil engineering. This includes a breakdown in new work and renovation / modernisation activities. Each conference has a special theme which gives insights in current construction topics. HISTORY EUROCONSTRUCT was established in 1974 by specialised research institutes and consulting organisations as a study group for construction analysis and forecasting. It has since expanded from the core group to include almost all Western European countries (the European Union and EFTA) and a number of Eastern European states. At present, EUROCONSTRUCT is represented by member institutes in 19 European countries.
