The mission of EUROoCS is enable Organ-on-Chip technology to facilitate life science research, promote human health and improve quality-of-life for all patients.
To achieve this, EUROoCS aims to facilitate OoC scientists, industry, government regulators and the general public in realizing sustainable progress in biological and medical research through education, communication, funding and matchmaking. Beneficiaries include the pharmaceutical-, cosmetics-, chemical- and agri-food industries with impact on consumer products. EUROoCS will thus be the catalyst for change around the experimental use of animals. Through EUROoCS, OoC technology will become standardised and reproducible, promoting adoption by regulators, academia, industry and the general public, towards improving human health and safety.
