Europe Beyond Access is a groundbreaking initiative co-funded by the EU’s Creative Europe programme.
It mobilises ten leading European arts organisations to champion the leadership of Deaf and disabled artists while transforming the performing arts.
Through co-productions and artist residencies, we create opportunities for Deaf and disabled artists to develop innovative new works and expand access to mainstream stages across Europe.
Since 2018, we have supported many artists and collaborated with different cultural agents to foster inclusion and creative excellence in the arts. By breaking down systemic barriers and creating pathways for artistic leadership, we are reshaping the cultural sector and building a more accessible, dynamic, and equitable future for the performing arts.
Europe Beyond Access is run by 10 high-profile European cultural organisation: Skånes Dansteater (Sweden), Holland Dance Festival (Netherlands), Onassis Stegi (Greece), Oriente Occidente (Italy), Kampnagel – Internationales Zentrum für schönere Künste (Germany), CODA Oslo International Dance Festival (Norway), Centrum Kultury ZAMEK w Poznaniu (Poland), Project Arts Centre (Ireland), Mercat de les Flors (Spain), Culturgest – Fundação CGD (Portugal).
