EUROPEN -the European Organisation for Packaging and the Environment- is a cross-industry organization presenting the opinion of the packaging supply chain in Europe on topics related to packaging, packaging waste and the environment, independent of any specific packaging material or system.
Since 1993, it has been a constructive and credible voice of the packaging supply chain in Europe vis-à-vis the EU institutions and other relevant stakeholders. EUROPEN works for the achievement of harmonised European and national packaging & packaging waste measures based on a full understanding of the issues, close co-operation between all sectors and actors of the packaging value chain, as well as avoidance of barriers to trade.
