The European Union Association (EU Association) is an accredited Non-Governmental Organization with a Special Consultative Status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) since 2012.
The EU Association works in support of UN priorities and objectives through various activities including events held at the United Nations HQ in New York, at various partner locations around the world and virtually online. Focusing on raising awareness about global timely topics in the areas of economic and social development, human rights and sustainability.
The EU Association works in cooperation with various partners including EU representative institutions, EU Member States Countries, NGOs, Academic Experts, Civil Rights Activist and the Division for Social Policy and Development (DSPD) under the Department of Economic and Social Affairs (DESA) at the United Nations.
