About EV Instruments / MiMod
MiMod / EV Instruments is now inactive. We were engaged in the creation and design of innovative electronic control and monitoring systems in a variety of electric vehicle (EV), industrial and commercial applications. Our focus was on systems and technologies that would aid and excel in "green" industries. Our knowledge and technical expertise involving electronic control and monitoring was broad. From electric vehicle applications to HVAC applications to industrial controls, we worked to provide new solutions and streamlined approaches that made our products valuable contributors to a more sustainable future. Our premier product, the MiMod™EV was targeted for electric vehicle applications. It was an integrated system of sensors, monitoring logic and operational controls that could be customized for almost any type of electric vehicle. Features of MiMod™EV •Very small physical footprint and could be installed in a number of convenient locations in the targeted electric vehicle. •Utilized a specially designed state of the art device that acts as a vehicle "nerve center" and provided real-time data exchange. •Incorporated the power and logical functionality of a mini PC with proprietary MiMod™EV software and functionality. •Came with standard MiMod™EV programming (based on vehicle model or builder-supplied specifications) that could be customized to accommodate up to 255 on-vehicle devices or functions. •Came with a standard 8-inch full-color LCD touch screen that was mountable in-dash or on-the-dash to make operation easy and user-friendly. •Provided in-depth, real-time electrical system monitoring and downloadable reporting, e.g. EV battery status, charging, voltage, etc.
