Evan Pittson Design

Evan Pittson is a designer, visual artist, and musician living in New York. His specialties include print and digital layout, hand-drawn and vector illustration, and typeface and lettering design. He works within a variety of print and digital media including signage, CD covers, brochures, web sites, food and beverage packaging, and clothing. He is skilled in Adobe Creative Suite applications such as InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, Muse, Premiere and After Effects, and has a foundation in HTML and CSS. Mr. Pittson holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the City College of New York with a major in Electronic Design and Multimedia. In 2015 Evan established his business as a contemporary fontographer, designing computer fonts for professional and personal use. His newest typeface design Mecha is a modern 16-style font family designed for display and body text. Mecha fuses sleek geometry with classic humanist letterform design, with extensive language support, contextual ligatures and alternate glyphs.
