EVC1000 Project

The Horizon2020 co-funded EVC1000 (Electric Vehicle Components for 1000 km daily trips) Project brought together leading automotive manufacturers, technology providers and research institutions to develop innovative brand-independent solutions and systems with the objective of increasing Electric Vehicle (EV) efficiency, range and user acceptance. By developing components based on an integrated wheel-centric propulsion combined with an electrified chassis and an advanced EV management system, the EVC1000 consortium aimed at introducing mass-production optimised vehicle solutions on the automotive market, able to overcome some of the limitations of the previous integrated electric corner solutions.
