We are Evenstad Forest Research Group, passionate about research and teaching in forest sciences. We are part of University of Inland Norway and located in the heartland of forestry in Norway, and use our natural and social surroundings actively in teaching and research. Our research streches from the regional and national to the international level, in close collaboration with academic and non-acedemic partners.
Evenstad was founded as a forestry school back in 1912. Today, we build forest research for the future by combining social, economic and ecological methods and aspects, needed for sustainable forest management. We are confident that the well-defined roots combined with the highly international team give us the relevance and the necessary broad perspectives for excelling in teaching and research.
