Following Hansa Hydrocarbons’ former management team’s buyout of HH LAPS Ltd from Avista Capital Partners, we are pleased to announce that the company has been renamed Everard Energy Ltd.
Everard Energy holds interests in the Perenco operated Malory and Lancelot gas fields and the associated Lancelot Area Production System. Production from the Malory Field is anticipated to continue beyond 2030. The Lancelot Area Production System plays an important part in maximising the economic recovery of gas from the UK Southern North Sea and attracts significant 3rd party business.
Everard Energy will pursue a strategy of growing its portfolio of gas assets in the North Sea through acquisition and exploration.
The Board believes that natural gas produced from the North Sea can play a key role in the efficient transition to a low carbon economy, by enabling and complementing the increasing contribution from renewable power in the energy mix.
