Seventy five years old, Everest Advertising is the second oldest advertising agency in India. It was founded in 1946 by Mr. Adi Patel and, to this day, is best known for the relationships it has built with its clients – many of which have lasted longer than most agencies have! Perhaps because Everest considered itself a part of the extended client team. Consider Parle Products, one of the world’s largest manufacturers of cookies and confectioneries. It was Everest’s first client – and remains one to this day. In its 75 years, Everest has also been at the forefront of innovation. Creating thumbstoppers before even the term existed, let alone the notion; creating a series of 5 second films (which weren’t edits of longer versions) for the legendary Monaco biscuit brand; and, of course, creating the hugely popular and memorable Digen Verma teaser campaign, catapulting Frooti from a child’s drink to an young adult’s. Today, we look forward to taking the Everest legacy forward with new age innovations, targeted at new age consumers, on new age mediums.
