Evergreen Experience, LLC

The Evergreen Experience is an innovative program started by graduate students and professionals working in the field of aging. The goal of this program is to connect older adults with memory loss to purposeful community based farming. The green care based dementia care approach is a growing field in Europe, but has not yet translated to the United States. Green care farming for dementia incorporates horticulture and farm-based programming with dementia care, offering familiar and purposeful activities.
