Every Child Fed

Every Child Fed (ECF) is dedicated to ending child deaths caused by malnutrition. We believe a long term solution to this enduring problem must be sustainable, empowering and environmentally responsible. Instead of importing food aid from overseas, which is often delayed and comes with exorbitant shipping and environmental costs, our model establishes local manufacturing facilities to produce the Ready to Use Therapeutic Foods (RUTF) used in treating malnourished children. By establishing local facilities, which are able to sell RUTF to international aid agencies, the project becomes financially sustainable and contributes in a broader way to the development of the countries being served.
