Selecting the best blockchain for your particular application is challenging. There are dozens of options spread among several categories — Layer 1, Layer 2, specialty chains for gaming or DeFi, etc. And the criteria for selecting a blockchain is complex — involving detailed technical, economic, and community considerations. There aren’t many resources for starting the selection process. Developers spend time duplicating efforts — searching online, reading websites, poking around on Discord and YouTube, and creating spreadsheets from scratch in order to get their arms around this key, early decision — time they would rather spend actually building. We’ve spent hundreds of hours to take a crack at assembling all of that stratified information, and are sharing it on everychain.xyz.
