European Vision Institute Clinical Research Network is a network of European Ophthalmological Clinical Research Sites, dedicated to perform clinical research in ophthalmology.
It is a platform for clinical trial research in Ophthalmology in Europe and a useful Industry resource in order to promote the development of new drugs and medical devices.
EVICR.net is an independent European Economic Interest Grouping (EEIG) established in 2010 in accordance with the Council Regulation (EEC) n.º 2137/85.
EVICR.net Coordinating Centre is located at AIBILI, in Coimbra, Portugal.
This Network is an infrastructure for management of multicenter clinical trials. It has common and harmonized organizational and technical Standard Operating Procedures, quality control and staff training according to ICH GCP-Guidelines.
EVICR.net serves as a fundamental resource for the development of translational research and particularly Pharmaceutical and Medical Devices Industrial Innovation in the European Union in Ophthalmology.
