In March 2020, during a city-wide lockdown, a bunch of friends got together and decided to cook from their own kitchens in the East Village to help fight growing food insecurity resulting from pandemic-related service outages. But the need has not gone away neither in our home community nor across the city, and as of today our all-volunteer organization has proudly served 550,000+ meals to New Yorkers in need.
