E-WASTE CERTIFICATES – A NEW SOLUTION TO AFRICAN E-WASTE From now on, with just a few mouse clicks, and only a few Euros per device, one can offset the e-waste footprint of obsolete electronic equipment -- instantly, and simply by inputting the individual serial numbers for this equipment. For each certificate sold, the Ewaste Foundation takes the corresponding amount of hazardous leftover materials out of Africa to process these in the most environmentally sound and quality manner possible. "For companies and institutions, our system offers a simple solution to outsource the practical work involved in taking one’s responsibility towards African e-waste," says Ewaste Foundation founder Paul de Jong.
