Engineers Without Borders (Hong Kong) Limited (EWB-HK) is an engineering-based charitable organization in Hong Kong and is a proud member of Engineers Without Borders International, a network of 23 different independent organizations all around the world.
EWB is presently focused in the following service units: Projects Committee, Urban Sustainability, Young Members Group and Global Citizenship Program, plus a few others working groups and administrative committees.
The EWB Global Citizenship Program responds to the needs of young generations to tackle the challenges faced in the rapid changing complex world. The program is designed to prepare students at the university level and graduate engineers to become global citizens with knowledge of real world sustainability and humanitarian issues, and able to create sustainable engineering solutions to contribute their technical expertise in their future career and offer technical support to the disadvantaged communities.
EWB-HK is currently managed and operated by volunteers.
