About eWed
Every year over 9,000 Israeli couples are coerced to fly abroad in order to get married. Civil marriage does not exist in Israel, and therefore same sex couples, interfaith couples, or those who do not wish to get married through religious channels are forced to find other solutions. eWed offers a hassle-free civil marriage service, which allows couples to get married without leaving the country. The solution is based on a legal procedure known as proxy marriage, and eliminates the need to physically attend the wedding ceremony that takes place abroad.
