ExaSense Technologies develops the IP, Methods and the Hardware architecture of networked IoT systems by engaging Machine Learning Algorithms to assist sensors across the network to deliver data with higher accuracy, sensitivity, reliability and speed compared to conventional Wireless Sensor Networks. ExaSense has developed IoT hardware prototypes using gas sensor arrays driven by a network of 8-b microcontrollers with WiFi connectivity that accurately identify source of emissions, their relative toxicity/flammability and can also discriminate against very similar sources at ultra low concentrations. Unlike conventional/industry-standard CO detectors for example, the newly developed hardware prototypes can successfully detect a single cigarette spaced maximally from a prototype IoT node in a room over 7K ft^3 large within 300 seconds. The prototype can also discriminate cigarette from vape emissions while also estimating how long it has been since a cigarette was extinguished in any given room. Our prototype can perform all of the above concurrently for several hundred IoT nodes supported by a common AI hardware platform for inferencing computation.
