Wai Kee Group has made the entry to the concrete production business after successfully tendering for the tenancy of the Aberdeen site in Hong Kong in 2010 and concrete batching plants were constructed thereon. The concrete batching plants at Aberdeen ceased operation in March 2019.
There are concrete batching and asphalt production facilities established at Lam Tei Quarry in 2016 and another concrete batching facility at Yau Tong has commenced operation since April 2019.
The Hong Kong Government has imposed high standards on the concrete batching plant and asphalt plant operations, including high environmental and quality controls.
