Study Without Books…Yes,this is the concept that was initiated by two young and passionate practicing Architects and Interior Designers, Ar.Anand Dhopte & Ar.Sheetal Dhopte, 6 years back. They realized the need to bridge the gap between the theories taught in colleges and the much needed practical knowledge about the field of Interior Design. 1 year Diploma in Interior Design affiliated with Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra open University & 1 year Post Graduation level Advance Certification course ensures that you do not require 6-7 years to start you own practice as an Independent Interior Designer. Completing the Fundamentals in just one year and perusing Project Management course in the second year on running sites saves 4-5 Golden years of your Career. While we prepare you towards field readiness, your placements are assured by your technical and disciplinary strengths. At Excel Institute, only practicing Architects & Interior Designers qualify to become faculties. These practical training based courses include Factory visits, Industry Expert sessions, Site visits, and material selection visits, along with regular studio sessions. In this unique Study Without books concept, students make plywood themselves at the factory visit to understand the strength of the material, its treatment process & durability aspects. Similar hands-on sessions are conducted to understand vital subjects like Materials, Carpentry, Services, Construction, vastu Shastra etc. Proficiency in CAD drawings is given utmost importance.
