Matthew has more than 30 years’ experience in a broad range of financial roles. Starting his career in professional services and becoming a Chartered Accountant, working in Australia, Singapore, Indonesia and the UK, before moving into the corporate world and working with a number of large, well-known national and multi-national companies across a diverse range of industries. In 2019 Matthew moved back into professional services, joining a financial planning practice and undertaking the additional study and on-the-job learning to become an ASIC registered Financial Adviser. In 2023 Matthew took the leap and started his own business, Excelerate Financial Services, with two main goals, to establish a client-focussed and professional business, and to support people to identify and achieve their financial objectives.
