Excellence & Ambition Inc. (E&A) empowers Baltimore youth with workforce development, job readiness, and entrepreneurship skills. We also provide training in the arts, community leadership, and college/career readiness to help participants achieve their full potential.
E&A offers the Youth Entrepreneurship Program (YEP) and Professionalism workshops for Baltimore City YouthWorks participants in the summer and youth citywide during the school year. Additional programs include Youth Build Community (YBC), featuring podcast and social media content production, and Community Leadership Engagement & Reproductive Health (CLE&R), which hosts mentorship programs through Sister and Brother Circles. These interactive workshops are largely youth-led, with dynamic guest speakers to inspire participants to pursue their goals and dreams.
E&A's commitment to youth development in Park Heights has led to expansion into the Forest Park community in collaboration with the Liberty Rec and Tech Center. We aim to ensure that every young person aged 14-21 who seeks employment receives the training and opportunities to succeed, while those with entrepreneurial aspirations are supported in achieving business success.
Our mission also incorporates the arts, college/career readiness, mental wellness, and reproductive health support offered through partnerships to holistically prepare youth for their futures.
