ExChange Wales

ExChange Wales provides free events and resources to make social care research accessible for professionals, policymakers and people with lived experience. With leading national experts and academics, we deliver conferences, webinars and workshops that enable dialogue and learning between researchers, policy makers and practitioners. We also host a diverse range of resources and projects online including videos, podcasts and blogs. Crucially, our events and resources enrich skills while putting the voice of people with lived experience at the forefront of our learning. We are based at Cardiff University and are generously funded by Health and Care Research Wales (HCRW) at Welsh Government. We work directly with the Centre for Children’s Social Care Research and Development (CASCADE), the Centre for Adult Social Care (CARE) and the Centre for Social Care and AI Research (SCALE) here at the University, as well as other internal and external partners.
